I want to thank you for submitting your online letter of support to get the new Google broadband to come to Long Beach.

We received 705 letters from residents and business owners from all over Long Beach!

The letters were attached to the official city application and sent to meet today's deadline.

Thanks to you, we are submitting a strong application that speaks to why Long Beach is the right choice for Google.

While there is no guarantee that Long Beach will be selected, I am proud of and the massive amount of community support.

I will let you know as soon as we hear back from Google.

Thanks again, and let's continue to move our city forward.
