I would like to invite you to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new Kress Market at Pine & 5th, this Thursday, August 12 at 5:00pm. The Kress Market brings some much-needed products and services to the Downtown community. Kress carries organic produce and groceries with an emphasis on health and quality. It also carries select wines and has a deli counter serving sandwiches, healthy smoothies and other great food.

Most importantly, the owners Javier & Hilda Ortiz, have worked with local residents and the community to design the store and stock the shelves. I’m excited to welcome them to Downtown, and I encourage everyone to stop by, buy your groceries, and try some of their delicious food.

The Kress joins 4th Street Deli, Crema Cafe, Sushi Zen Manu, Doma Properties, M2 Fitness Studio and Major Cap on the 400 block of Pine. Downtown is evolving, and more great changes are on the way.
