Transition Team

The Transition team, chaired by Doug Otto, is made up of dedicated Long Beach community leaders who are volunteering their time to serve the city.  They truly represent the diversity in all aspects that make up Long Beach.  They have experience in the public and private sectors, nonprofits and education.  The team will be providing Mayor-Elect Garcia recommendations on staffing, commission appointments, budget priorities and goals for the first 100 days.  They will work with the Mayor-Elect to assemble the best and the brightest to move Long Beach forward.
